A respectable business have to be able to accept credit cards online and that in itself requires a valid business license, fixed address and further deposits with respective banks.

Bearing that in mind it is perfectly safe for consumers to book through our service. We are not a small operation out to make a quick buck off of unsuspecting tourists. Infact once you have made a reservation with us and received your booking voucher, you will always be able to phone the hotel directly to verify that your booking has indeed been made and that everything is above board.

We do not require your credit card details to check availability. We are perfectly happy to check availability for you at several properties without any commitment on your part. Once you decide and wish to confirm a booking then you put a deposit down securely online or via bank transfer.

Please note that we do recommend letting us pre-authorize your credit card for last minute or peak season bookings, but it is an optional choice.
 
BOOKINGS IN YOUR NAME
Many international websites will not book the room in your name. They simply block a number of rooms and only later is your name allocated a specific room. When you book with us we book the hotel in your name. Therefore you can always call the hotel directly after you have received our voucher to verify your booking details!

Being based in Bangkok and having direct contact with the hotels and not travel wholesalers we can guarantee you the best rooms. Many international booking websites pre-book large blocks of rooms from travel wholesalers. These rooms are typically the least desirable that the hotels have (leftovers that they want to pre-sell as they are not easy to sell to walkin customers or respectable travel agents).
 
BEST AND LOWEST RATES
We are confident we offer some of the best hotel rates around. If you manage to find the same room at a cheaper rate in THAI BAHT, which is bookable and available at the same dates of our offer and with same details and conditions, simply emails us directly at book@247siam.com. If we can verify your claim then we will match or better the other offer. Please ensure to include the full website address as well as proof of availability (such as a confirmation email) in your claim or we will be unable to verify it.
 
Initially only a deposit required
Unlike other travel websites, in most cases, we only require a small deposit if you wish to confirm an available room. Typically the balance will be payable 31 days prior to your arrival at the hotel. Different hotels have different policies, but this is a good rule of thumb and makes your vacation easier to plan and enjoy.

We have a very quick turnaround on confirming availability and will always try to find alternative solutions in case your desired hotel, room type or duration of stay is unavailable. We typically confirm reservations within 12 hours or you can even CHAT WITH US online and get a booking confirmed instantly (we'll call the hotel while you are on the chatline).

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


How do I find and reserve a hotel with your service?
Simply select the destination of your choice from the menu and you'll see a selection of hotels that can be sorted by many different factors including type, location, rate, facilities etc. You can also use our Hotel Search function to find your favorite hotel. Type the name of the hotel you're looking for in the search box and our internal search engine will provide results that match your criteria. If we dont have the hotel you are looking for, we'll offer lots of suitable alternatives. The hotels we offer are in the 2-star to 5-star categories. We usually provide photographs of important features such as the exterior, the rooms, dining and recreational facilities. Important amenities and other facilities will be listed on each hotel page. Each hotel's rate page lists our special discounted rates which are all per room, not per person. All hotel rates are listed in Thai Baht. Please use our the currency converter on the individual hotel pages to see the rates in other currencies. to see the equivalent value in your home currency. Then go to our booking form to make your reservaton. Also, be sure to make your reservation for the full duration of your stay. If you do need to extend your stay after arrival, please contact our Customer Service agents so you're not charged the hotel's full rate.
 
What happens when my reservation is placed?
1) In order to get you the best room we contact the hotel's reservation department and request the room. We do not work with instant confirmation as this often means "run of the house" or the lower quality rooms within the individual hotels.. Even for a specific category there can still be differences in the quality, i.e. a one Superior Room may not be as good as another Superior Room.  Even so, we can typically confirm a reservation within 12-18 hours.

2) If a room is available and you submit your credit card details and agree to the booking conditions on the booking form, then the reservation is confirmed and a hotel voucher will be automatically sent to your e-mail address after fraud verification. The hotel voucher will only be issued after we have received and charged your credit card information. The hotel voucher must be presented upon check-in at the hotel.
 
Can I make a reservation directly through the hotel?
The rates listed on our websites are only available through our service. Rates offered directly from hotels are typically 50% - 75% higher.
 
How long does it take to check if a room is available?
We usually confirm a reservation within 12 hours.
 
Are your hotel rates per room or per person?
The rates displayed are per room, NOT per person. As a general policy, hotels allow two adults per room and one child under 12 years of age.
 
What is the hotel policy for children?
Most hotels allow children to stay in the room with parents either with or without an extra bed. The normal hotel policy is not to charge for children if they are under twelve years of age. Some hotels will limit occupancy of a room to two adults and one child. Only a few hotels will have existing bedding for additional children, so an extra bed is usually required. Some hotels will charge for this extra bed.
 
What is your credit card payment procedure and how safe is it?
We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt all information. All secure transactions take place on our secure server.
 
Why do I need to provide additional documents during the payment process?
In relatively infrequent cases we require additional documents, such as a faxed copy of the credit card, to support a booking. This may occur when the guest name differs from the cardholder; when the acquiring bank for the credit card transaction requires this, when the booking is deemed high value, or when our Fraud Protection program identifies a high-risk transaction.

247SIAM.COM is owned and operated by 247SIAM Company Limited. 247SIAM Company Limited is a fully bonded travel agent with The Tourism Authority of Thailand and is duly registered with the Thailand Ecommerce Board and The Department of Commerce.





CANCELLATION POLICY - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

We do not charge any cancellation fee for rooms that have not been confirmed. A confirmed room means that you have either made a deposit, pre-authorized your credit card or made full payment. Once your room has been confirmed and you have made a deposit, pre-authorized your credit card or made full payment, you are subject to the cancellation policies detailed below.

Any policies dictated by a specific hotel will always take precedent over the policy stated here.

Please note that many smaller hotels, specifically but not limited to Koh Tao, Koh Phangan, Koh Samet, Koh Lipe, Koh Kood, Koh Chang, Koh Mak, Koh Mook, Koh Lanta and Koh Ngai, have more stringent cancellation policies and may not offer the the same refund as listed below or any refund at all.

SEASON Cancellation Charges
PEAK SEASON / HOLIDAY SEASON If cancelled less than 21 days prior to check in: 15% administration charge
HIGH SEASON If cancelled less than 14 days prior to check in: 10% administration charge
LOW SEASON If cancelled less than 5 days prior to check in: 10% administration charge
NO SHOW There is no refund
* Credit Card Fees/Service Charges where applicable are not refunded


BOOKING CONDITIONS
Please note that some hotels may have policies that are not the same as the above table and therefore it is in your interest to verify your resort's policies prior to confirming your reservation. Please email us here if you need to know a specific hotel's cancellation policy.


We advice all our guests to ensure that you sign up for a travel insurance which covers hotel cancellation fees or cases in which there are no refunds. Such insurance is readily available as an option with most insurance companies. In case of island bookings we cannot be responsible for missed boat transfers for any reason. Last minute cancellations are not accepted and no refund in such cases. If we have to pay the hotel, you have to pay us.

If you do not wish to keep a reservation you must send us your cancellation request. Failure to do so will result in you being subject to the conditions described above, so it is imperative that you let us know as early as possible.

The refund will normally be made the same way you paid which in most cases mean that your credit card will be credited. Please note that 247SIAM.COM will instruct the payment gateway you used to handle the crediting process immediately upon notification of cancellation, however, it the time it takes for the amount to show in your account depends on your credit card issuer's billing cycle/policy.


Special Full Moon / Minimum Stay Booking Conditions
On our website we clearly mention the individual hotel's minimum stay requirements for Full Moon Periods, Holiday Periods and Peak Season Periods. If a booking is submitted that does not meet these requirements, we will process the reservation using the details submitted, but further payment will be required in order for the reservation to meet the mininum requirements and this payment will be requested after initial payment has been completed. Failure to pay the second amount will result in complete forfeiture of deposit/payment and be subject to our cancellations terms. No exception.


Ammending your reservation
Due to the significant work in ammending key elements of a reservation, such as check in and check out dates, a small ammendment fee of 400 THB may be applicable if made in due time. Please note the changes in duration of stay or number of rooms fall in under cancellations and not ammendments.


Extension of stay
Be sure to make your reservation for the full duration of your stay. If you do need to extend your booking after arrival, you will need to contact our Reservations office as the hotel will not offer you these discount prices. (Hotel will charge you full walk-in rates).


Shortening your stay
We would love to be as flexible as we can regarding this issue. However, as an agent, 247SIAM has to abide by the individual hotel policies regarding refunds. Generally refunds for shortening of stays are entirely up to the discretion of the resort.


No Show (Non-use of reservation)
If, for any reason you don’t utilise your reservation and fail to contact us to cancel it, we do not refund any monies pertaining to said booking. The reason for this is that as far as the hotel is concerned the room is booked and they cannot let anyone else occupy it, in case you arrive. Thus the room is held, un-occupied, until they are notified otherwise.


Unavailability of reservation
From time to time availability can change daily, even hourly and not all resorts actually hold a reservation, therefore in the event that we receive the deposit/payment too late, we reserve the right to cancel your payment/deposit and/or offer alternative accommodation. In the event, that you do not wish to accept an alternative solution we will cancel the payment in full. We strive to solve all reservation problems promptly and dilligently to the guest's satisfaction.


FAILURE TO PAY BALANCE OF A RESERVATION
If the hotel you have booked requires full pre-payment and initially you only paid a deposit then please take note of the date of which the balance is payable. Failure to pay your balance payment on time may result in cancellation of your booking and loss of your deposit. When you login to your account you can see the due date of any balance to be paid and we strive to send reminders. Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for missed emails and it is your responsibility to pay the balance regardless of receiving a reminder payment.

It is your responsibility that you are able to receive our emails. We cannot be responsible for missed emails sent from book@247siam.com due to your spam/junk filters. Pleae ensure that you add our email address to your white/accepted list of emails addresses you wish to receive mail from.
