Coral View Resort is located on Haad Sai Daeng, an idyllic golden sand beach on the south coast of Koh Tao. There are only two resorts that share the beach which is just a stones throw away from the infamous Shark Island, regarded as Koh Tao's best dive site and amongst the finest in the Gulf of Thailand. The Thai and Australian couple who manage the resort are so hospitable that it has been listed in the both English and French guide books whilst the beautiful cove of Haad Sai Daeng provides the perfect picture of paradise.
fantastic place to stay, great setting , ozzi owner looked after us well . great to here how he built it , blisters and all, recommend it for a great hide away and pampering

One of my favorite spots on the planet. Stayed here for 10 day in November / December 2008 in a hut of exceptional value. Idyllic location, terrific food, and our hosts were extraordinary: This was during the airport closure, and our hosts translated Thai news broadcasts for us, provided free use of the phone to contact airlines and embassies, and went out of their way to assist. The location is secluded, the Thai food (and mashed potatoes!) some of the best I had in Thailand, the room rates excellent value (400 bhat/night!), and I made a TON of friends at Coral View. Highest recommendation!
