The Staff there were very helpful when we enquired about getting transport to the party and back again, and then another taxi to catch a ferry back to the main land the next day.
1 of the hotel staff or owner offered to drive us to the party in the back of his ute for a small price, he then gave us his mob number and said "call me at what ever time you finish and I'll come and pick u up no worries" we thought this was great. When we decided to leave the venue, we walked outside there he was waiting for us, is this service or what? he drove us back to the hotel, we paid him and gave him a long neck as another thank you.
A couple hours later we had to leave to catch the 7am ferry, the staff kindly organised a van for us. Also we were too early for the hotels breakfast, and to our amazement the staff packed all of us a take away breakfast box! This was a great place to stay with fantastic service, I would go back!..."
"I've been to this beach several times and it seems to have changed considerably since my last visit three years ago. A number of the smaller old fashioned beach huts have been replaced with more modern establishments, this being one of them.
I don't like to stay in hotel style accomodation on the islands so I wasn't to keen on this place originally but they have deluxe bungalows on stilts on the slope overlooking the beach. These were perfect for our needs. They even had a big balcony to watch the sun go down. Unfortunately the balcony doesn't get any sun during the day so it is not much use for sunbathing.
Buffet breakfast was included in our room but it is a bit of a disappointment. The dinner menu is pretty good though and they have a bbq every night where you can select freshly caught fish."
