Ao Nang is a village on the coast in Krabi province about 17Kms from Krabi town. It is developing rapidly as a tourist resort mainly because of the spectacular scenery in the area, particularly the coastline and nearby islands.
A wide variety of tourist accomodation is available in and around the village, with a wide variety of prices and value for money. Similarly with restaurants. There is always a big peak of tourists in December and January, and it is quite hard to find anywhere to stay between mid-Dec and mid-Jan.
